We're seeking a Software Engineer to join our team! You'll work on deploying innovative solutions using CI/CD pipelines to global Kubernetes clusters. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, influencing product direction. This role offers hands-on experience with .NET Core, Angular, Next.js, and Azure technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in multi-disciplinary Agile teams to create digital solutions.
• Translating user stories into functioning applications.
• Creating and maintaining efficient, reliable, and testable code following coding standards.
• Delivering systems that meet performance and quality goals.
• Staying up to date with technology developments.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics with Computer Science, or possess equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficiency in web application development.
• Skilled in Frontend Technologies such as Angular (TypeScript) or React (Next.js).
• Experience with Backend Technologies including C#, .NET Core, Microservices, and Design patterns (CQRS, Repository).
• Proficiency with additional technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Git, Kubernetes, Cosmos DB, and CI/CD is essential
• Capable of handling medium-sized user stories independently, breaking them down into sub-tasks with own initiative. Able to collaborate with Senior/Lead Software Engineer when working on larger user stories.
• Ensures adherence to departmental coding standards and principles. Proactively seeks to understand and apply coding standards where clarification is needed. Promptly escalates any instances where coding standards and principles cannot be followed, prioritizing adherence over non-compliance.
• Able to define and write appropriate tests (unit / integration) before releasing functionality.
• Proficient in designing units of functionality and capable of proposing design suggestions for larger systems, subject to approval by Senior/Lead Software Engineers.
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership of their own solutions.
• Capable of implementing common patterns and skilled in researching and learning new patterns when faced with novel challenges.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodologies and active contribution to Scrum team activities.
• Participation in stand-ups, backlog refinements, and sprint planning sessions.
• Adherence to task-board discipline, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Prompt identification and communication of impediments, seeking assistance when needed.
• Contribution to process improvements within the team.
• Engagement in discussions regarding team health and proactive suggestion of corrective actions for any issues.
• Demonstrated courage to speak up when something is amiss and initiative to address the situation.
