Software Engineer

Keyresponsibilities

• Apply development and configuration skills to deployment related activities and resolve technical issues.

  
  

• Help withrelease processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments. 

  
  

• Help with maintaining/updating tickets and project activities onESMandADOas required.

  
  

• Contribute on application testing activities.

  
  

• Understandand support integrations with other applications. 

  
  

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology/ computer scienceor related fields.

  
  

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Planisware solutions to support Project Portfolio Management (PPM), resource management, financial planning, and project governance processes.

  
  

• Lead the implementation and enhancement of Planisware modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

  
  

• Analyzebusiness requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs, workflows, data models, and system configurations.

  
  

• Develop and maintain custom Planisware scripts, macros, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to meet organizational needs.

  
  

• Design, develop, and support integrations between Planisware and enterprise applications such as ERP, HR, Finance, CRM, and data warehouse platforms.

  
  

• Perform data migration, data validation, and system upgrades while ensuring data integrity and application stability.

  
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents within agreed service levels.

  
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, solution architects, and functional consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.

  
  

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and development teams on Planisware development standards and best practices.

  
  

• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality requirements.

  
  

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration documents, integration specifications, and operational procedures.

  
  

• Support release management activities, including deployment planning, testing, defect resolution, and production rollouts.

  
  

• Participate in system architecture discussions and recommend improvements for scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.

  
  

• Create and optimize reports, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to support portfolio and project decision-making.

  
  

• Stay current with Planisware product enhancements, new features, and industry trends, and recommend continuous improvements to the platform.

  
  

• Good to have: Basic understanding of scrum practices.
