Description:

DevOps Engineering opportunities have arisen in Information Management (IM) in Airbus. Challenges are numerous and exciting. You will be working in Scaled Agile Framework development teams and also solve daily operational issues (incidents/problems) and participate actively in crisis calls. 

This position will require being eligible for security clearance by the recognized authorities.

• A Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with overall 8+ years of IT industry experience including DevOps:

  
  
  

  • Engineering graduate with 3-6 years of DevOps experience 

    
    
    

  • DevOps mindset (“you build it, you run it”, taking responsibility for your work, solving problems with automation, transparency, etc.)

    
    
    

  • Experience in hosting, integration, storage, networks, and DevOps automation engineering 

    
    
    

  • Strong programming experience in a language such as Ruby/Python/ JavaScript 

    
    
    

  • Strong knowledge and Hands on expertise in Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Openshift, AWS ECS.

    
    
    

  • Strong knowledge and experience in configuring Jenkins CI & CD pipelines

    
    
    

  • Strong knowledge in AWS (with CDK), CloudOps, DevOps tools (Github, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Checkmarx) and Terraform modules & Cloudformation scripts

    
    
    

  • Experience with automated configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible 

    
    
    

  • Experience with logging & event management tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, Greylog, etc 

    
    
    

  • Backup & recovery procedures and technologies, data storage and retention requirements 

    
    
    

  • Experience in working in and with Agile delivery teams / projects / programs 

    
    
    

  • Hands on working with Linux environment with shell scripting

    
    
    

  • Experience with any of the container technologies like Docker , podman and Singularity.

    
    
    

  • Experience in large-scale, high volume and high availability critical systems in Cloud environment such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud 

    
    
    

  • Add experience with web application performance monitoring (APM tools), Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), or Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).

    
    
    

• Sense of detail and passion for software and technologies that solve problems

  
  
  

• Ability to handle a subject from demand management, to testing and support

  
  
  

• Ability to challenge the needs of the clients and provide appropriate solutions

  
  
  

• Curiosity & team player attitude, with a wish to evolve with your team

  
  
  

• Advanced level of English

  
  
  

• German knowledge will be an added advantage

  
  
  

Responsibilities:

Building & maintaining automated Jenkins CI/CD pipelines 

Supporting automation testing activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of deployment of applications

Develop and implement integrated and automated DevSecOps capability for our applications

Deployment of applications on AWS/GCP platform

Support operations activity linked with application availability and performance

Driving automation initiatives & continuous improvement throughout our environment 

Ensuring agility in delivery and fostering innovation 

Provide guidance and support to business and application delivery teams to fully leverage the benefits of cloud technology 

Manage and secure public-facing web infrastructure
