The Team

We are looking for a Software Engineer Expert to join the Hitachi VantaraProductEngineering team. This teamassistin developing and testingVSP One File Solutions.(https://www.hitachivantara.com/en-us/products/storage/network-attached-storage-platform.html)

The Role

An ideal candidate will understand the full software development process and contribute across the entire development and testing cycle. This includes working as part of an agile team to build high-quality software and unit tests.

A successful candidate must have a proventrack recordof delivering complex software solutions, and a demonstrable understanding of the networking protocols like SMB and NFS. 

What you will bring:

This rolewillinclude the following:

• Design, develop andmaintainstorage interface and orchestration products

  
  
  

• Strong C/C++experience in developinghigh-performance software forstoragesystemsand hardware-based file systems

  
  
  

• Demonstrated experience in developing Linux distribution-related work

  
  
  

• Strong experience in networking protocols is a must includingNFS, SMBfile-sharing, one or moreof the storage systems and management high availabilitysystems is a plus

  
  
  

• Work with test engineers to ensure automatedtestregression coverage

  
  
  

• Python experienceis added benefit

  
  
  

• Scrum master or product owner experience or certification is a plus
