As a Junior UI Engineer you will work closely with experienced professionals to design, develop, and deploy scalable and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in front-end and back-end technologies, embrace a whole-team approach, be willing to write unit tests, contribute to test automation, and have experience building reactive user interfaces in an agile environment. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable and responsive web applications using React.JS, JavaScript UI frameworks, and Java.
• Assist in the implementation of microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms like Amazon EKS.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and databases using RESTful APIs.
• Utilize SQL and NoSQL database technologies to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Gain hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS services and cloud environments.
• Embrace a whole-team approach by actively participating in team discussions, code reviews, and collaborative decision-making.
• Contribute to writing unit tests and test automation to ensure the reliability and quality of software solutions.
• Familiarize yourself with DevSecOps practices and contribute to integrating security measures into the development lifecycle.
• Assist in building reactive user interfaces and ensuring optimal performance in an agile environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of React.JS, JavaScript UI frameworks, Java, microservices architecture, Docker, EKS, SQL, NoSQL database technologies, AWS services, and cloud environments.
• Experience building reactive user interfaces in an agile environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to write unit tests and contribute to test automation.
