Main Purpose: Define and mature the full people, process and technology-driven Application Reliability & Assurance strategy, roadmap, and the enablement of an AIOps-led Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Practice under the new DP&A Digital Application Sustain and Operations organization. Lead the Application Reliability & Assurance organization to ensure modern-architected applications are viewed as highly resilient by leveraging SRE-led AIOps practices for detection, prediction and self-healing. At the same time, bring traditional (legacy) applications up the incident prevention maturity curve through shift-left operations efforts. In partnership with the Commercial/Consumer Application Management Team, along with the Supply Chain/Enabling Functions Application Management Team, ensure the full resiliency, availability and business continuity for 249 Global Digital Products & Applications for PepsiCo. Responsibilities Partner closely with DP&A Application Management, Software Engineering and Product Teams along with Sector Deployment Teams to enable to full SRE Practice incident prevention / proactive resolution model. Considering the integrated nature of our application portfolio, partner closely with the Data & AI, Enterprise Solutions, Infrastructure Operations, and Sector-based Application Sustain and Operations Teams to ensure full end-to-end detection, prediction and self-healing capabilities for highly integrated solutions. Partner with applicable legacy application SMEs to best understand the traditional application landscape while comprehending the future S&T application rationalization roadmap to develop a comprehensive strategy and execution plan to bring legacy applications up the incident prevention maturity curve through shift-left operations efforts leveraging cost-optimal AIOps techniques. Partner with the S&T Software Engineering organization to fully enable applicable AIOps techniques and technologies prior to the deployment of new digital products & applications or core functionality within existing digital products & applications. Partner with the S&T ES Enterpirse Architecture organization to identify, evaluate and align/approve new AIOps tools & technologies to leverage within the Global PepsiCo landscape for the SRE Practice incident prevention / proactive resolution model. Drive a deep partnership with the PepsiCo S&T Information Security (InfoSec) organization to develop a Digital Product & Application Security Practice to govern all DP&A solutions through a coordinated set of best-in-industry security practices. Evangelism and education throughout S&T with all levels of leadership to ensure awareness and alignment DP&A Application Reliability & Assurance objectives and open initiatives. Partner with internal and external SRE Practitioners in an effort to drive PepsiCo’s expectation of being an industry leader in SRE and AIOps capabilities. Qualifications 15+ years of technology work experience in a large-scale Global organization. 15+ years of experience working within a cross-functional Technology organization in partnership with Sector Leads, Global Solftware Engineering, and Information Security. 10+ years of driving Digital Enablment (Strategy, Operations, etc) across a Global Technology Function. 10+ years of experience in hyperscale Public Cloud (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud). Deep understanding of Digital Products and the capabilities they deliver as well as the value proposition of leveraging advanced AIOps practices. Business and financial acumen, especially as it pertains specifically to PepsiCo, its customers and its partners. Ability to create strategic plans spanning multiple time horizons and across multiple partner Teams. Ability to build cross-functional relationships through trust, respect, and partnership. Ability to discern perceived differing priorities between the business and technology teams, and identifying a path forward that is mutually beneficial. Experience in driving consensus around and across virtual teams and multiple functions through clear communication of vision and objectives, thorough planning, effective execution, and realization of desired benefits.
