Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o System Design & Architecture: Play a key role in design & development of robust system design & architecture that aligns with the user needs and product functional requirements, including the digital connectivity related needs.
o Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and constraints. Resolve competing constraints.
o System integration: Support the integration of software, hardware and other elements, ensuring seamless functionality.
o Prototyping & Testing: Create prototypes to validate system designs and conduct necessary testing to identify and address any issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
o System Optimization: Evaluate existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement to enhance efficiency and performance.
o Technical documentation: Produce or guide creation of necessary technical documentation, including system requirements, design rationale and instruction for design transfer to manufacturing and service.
o Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and fostering effective communication to achieve the project goals.
o Technical leadership: Lead or guide cross-functional team in product design realization, resolving competing constraints, coaching juniors to accomplish program goals.
Desirable:
O Awareness of medical devices ISO and IEC design control procedures, regulations and standards.
