The Sr. Software Technologist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, cloud-native software solutions with a strong focus on C#/.NET Full Stack development and AWS Cloud technologies. The role combines hands-on software engineering expertise with modern DevOps practices to build secure, reliable, and high-performing applications.


The individual will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive end-to-end product development, including architecture, coding, testing, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and production support. The role is expected to mentor team members, champion engineering excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.


Key Responsibilities

Software Development


  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and modern software architecture principles.
  • Build robust and scalable full-stack solutions across backend services, APIs, databases, and front-end applications.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to engineering best practices.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology selection decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

AWS Cloud Engineering


  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Build and manage scalable infrastructure leveraging AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and API Gateway.
  • Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
  • Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

DevOps & Automation


  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve product quality.
  • Implement automated build, deployment, testing, monitoring, and release management processes.
  • Support source control, security scanning, quality gates, and deployment automation.
  • Advocate DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle and drive operational excellence.

Operational Excellence


  • Monitor application health using telemetry, logging, and observability platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring platform stability and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis of system performance, development workflows, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to ensure high availability and resilience of software systems.

Leadership & Collaboration


  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performing engineering culture.
  • Promote engineering best practices, code quality, security, and technical excellence.
  • Foster collaboration across global teams and support technical decision-making.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Experience building and supporting Full Stack applications.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, source control, automated testing, and release management.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to healthcare domain, regulated environments, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience with quality, security, and performance engineering tools.
