The RoleAspen Technology, industry leader in Asset Optimization software solutions in the Process Industries is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as Sustainability Solution Manager as a member of AspenTech’s Integrated Solutions Group based in Bangalore, India. AspenTech Sustainability Solutions leverage the strength of AspenTech’s market leading Asset Optimization software solutions including the latest Modeling, Optimization, Industrial AI and Visualization and Workflow capabilities to transform the sustainability decision making to simultaneously address the dual challenge of meeting sustainability and profitability goals. AspenTech’s Sustainability Solutions address multiple pathways including Energy and Emissions Management, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Hydrogen Economy and Bio-feedstocks.
This role will contribute to the solution development, configuration, packaging, strategy, and business development for AspenTech’s Sustainability Solutions. AspenTech Sustainability Solutions leverage AspenTech’s entire portfolio across the lifecycle and fostering cross-functional innovation to accelerate customer value in sustainability and business growth. In addition, the role will include supporting co-innovation and collaboration with AspenTech customers and partners to scale the solution adoption across the AspenTech customer base. One of the key elements of the role will be to enable packaging and scaling of sustainability solutions for the customers and regional teams through development of templates, industry examples and solution training with “hands on” approach. The AspenTech Asset Optimization Solution provides market leading capabilities to optimize the performance of process industry assets across the CAPEX and OPEX cycles to simultaneously address profitability and sustainability goals.Your Impact

• Contribute to solution strategy, business development, and cross-functional teamwork and execution for the AspenTech Sustainability Solutions.
• Contribute to market analysis, business strategy to accelerate growth.
• Partner with R&D teams and product management teams across the portfolio to define solution requirements and key use cases and opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales on a worldwide basis to support customer engagements by the regional teams.
• Contribute to competency development program for customers in collaboration with Customer Support & Training and services teams.
• Help develop an Ecosystem of partners including EPC companies and ISP providers to scale the delivery and adoption of AspenTech sustainability solutions.
• Translate feedback from the customers and partners into software requirements and product strategy to achieve rapid adoption of the products.
• Contribute to co-innovation and collaboration with AspenTech customers and partners to enhance Sustainability Solutions.
• Contribute to early adopter engagements with customer sustainability advisory groups through innovation programs.
• Evangelize solutions within and outside the company as part of AspenTech sustainability initiatives.
• Successful track record of developing and delivering sustainability solutions inside an owner operator organization or inside an EPC or as a supplier of technology solutions to the process industries.
• Strong background and track record of leadership in delivering solutions in design and or operations with demonstrated impact.
• Good understanding of customer needs in sustainability improvement strategies (E.g. Energy Efficiency) in plant operations, design and strategic decision making.
• Background in the use of AspenTech solutions including process modeling or planning or operational optimization in the process industries will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate the solution message.
• Previous experience in leading sustainability initiatives will be a strong advantage.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills with proven track record in leading successful projects, product or business initiatives leading to business growth.
• Strong leader with passion for Sustainability in the Process Industries.

What You'll Need

• 5-10 years of experience successfully developing and deploying solutions in the Energy and/or Chemicals industries. Experience in Sustainability solutions will be an advantage.
• 10+ years of process industry experience in plant engineering or operations functions.
• 5-10 years of experience in leading corporate initiatives that have been successfully introduced.
• Prior experience in business development, business strategy, and solution delivery are preferred.
• Minimum B.S. degree in engineering or science, advanced degree in management is a plus.
