Roles and responsibilities

1) Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional and system test plans for on-premises, cloud, and enterprise environments.
2) Validate server and storage virtualization solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and interoperability across platforms.
3) Analyze product requirements and architecture to create detailed test strategies, test cases, and validation scenarios.
4) Perform end-to-end system testing, including integration, regression testing.
5) Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
6) Leverage strong domain expertise in virtualization technologies to identify edge cases, risk areas, and optimization opportunities.
7) Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using Python to improve efficiency and test coverage.
8) Ensure high-quality delivery standards by implementing best practices in QA methodologies, including test traceability, coverage analysis, and reporting.
9) Collaborate with cross-functional teams including and operations to ensure smooth validation and deployment processes.
10) Continuously evaluate and adopt new testing tools, technologies, and automation approaches to improve QA effectiveness.
11) Participate in root cause analysis for critical defects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
1) Strong experience in functional and/or system testing across on-prem, cloud, and enterprise environments
2) Solid understanding of server and storage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, container platforms, etc.).
3) Good knowledge of OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance etc)
4) Hands-on experience in end-to-end testing, including integration, regression, and system validation.
5) Proficiency in test automation using Python, including designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
6) Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, system architecture, and enterprise infrastructure.
7) Good understanding of networking, storage concepts, and enterprise system architecture
Preferably seeking candidates with strong hands-on experience in functional and system testing across on-premises, cloud-based, and enterprise environments, particularly within server and storage virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate should possess deep domain expertise in virtualization platforms, along with a solid background in quality assurance methodologies, including test planning, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation. Additionally, proficiency in test automation using Python is essential, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and improve overall test efficiency and coverage
