Technical Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including .NET, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications, providing technical leadership, defining architecture standards, and guiding development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies and Azure cloud services.
• Define application architecture, technical roadmaps, and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design workshops.
• Design scalable microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Create and maintain high-performance database architectures using SQL Server.
• Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance on coding standards and architecture patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture principles.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide architectural solutions.

Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Skills

• Strong experience in: C# ASP.NET Core .NET Framework/.NET 6/7/8 Web APIs and RESTful Services Entity Framework LINQ
• Extensive experience with: Microsoft SQL Server Database design and data modeling Query optimization and performance tuning Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (preferred)
• Strong Azure Cloud experience: Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure Storage Azure SQL Database Azure Service Bus Azure Key Vault Azure API Management Azure Monitor/Application Insights Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (preferred)
• Experience with: Microservices Architecture Event-Driven Architecture Distributed Systems Design Patterns and SOLID Principles Messaging technologies Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of: Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines Git Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep preferred)

Architecture & Leadership Skills

• Solution architecture and enterprise architecture experience.
• Ability to create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Technical leadership and team mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Technical Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
• Relevant Azure certifications are highly desirable.
