Your Role Role Summary We are looking for a self-driven and technically strong Embedded Technical Lead to lead the design and development of embedded software solutions. The role requires expertise in Embedded Linux, Yocto, Firmware Development, Software Architecture, Communication Protocols, and Industrial Fieldbus Technologies. The candidate will provide technical leadership to engineering teams, drive best practices, engage with global stakeholders, and contribute to competence development and innovation initiatives across the organization. To succeed, you will need Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and delivery of embedded software and firmware solutions. Define software architectures and ensure adherence to engineering best practices. Guide and mentor development teams on technical solutions, quality, and delivery. Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews. Develop and maintain Embedded Linux and Yocto-based solutions. Work with communication and fieldbus protocols for industrial and connected products. Collaborate with global stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical direction. Drive technical discussions, solution proposals, and architecture decisions. Build and strengthen organizational competencies through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical initiatives. Evaluate new technologies and drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to support future business needs. Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and technical excellence. Required Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or related field. 10+ years of industry experience in Embedded Systems Development. Experience working with global product development teams. Experience in industrial automation, controllers, IoT, or connected products. Exposure to cybersecurity concepts in embedded systems is an advantage. Required Skills Embedded C/C++ Embedded Linux & Yocto Firmware Development Software Architecture & Design Patterns Linux Kernel & Device Drivers Communication Protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet) Industrial Fieldbus Protocols (Modbus, CANopen, EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUS) Git, CI/CD, Unit Testing, Static Analysis Agile Development Practices Stakeholder Management and Technical Communication Behavioural Competencies Self-driven with strong ownership and accountability. Initiative-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement. Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and collaborate across global teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
