Job Summary
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Synechron provides strategic and hands-on leadership for complex, high-impact technical projects spanning front-end, back-end, and middleware technologies. In this pivotal role, the TPM leverages deep technical expertise—including coding skills in Golang and Node.js—and proven program management capabilities to deliver robust solutions aligned with business objectives. The TPM drives collaboration, ensures project delivery, and champions continuous improvement to maximize organizational value.
Software Requirements
Required:
Strong coding proficiency in Golang and Node.js, with practical experience leading development in both languages
In-depth knowledge of front-end, back-end, and middleware technologies
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (including architecture, services, and best practices)
Familiarity with project management tools and practices (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)
Experience integrating data platforms and familiarity with AI-enabled technologies
Preferred:
Certifications in AWS or cloud architecture
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with CI/CD/DevOps pipelines
Familiarity with security protocols for cloud and multi-tier applications
Overall Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end leadership for complex technical programs, ensuring timely delivery within scope and defined budget
Collaborate across development, architecture, and business teams to define technical requirements and align deliverables
Directly participate in technical tasks including architecture and code reviews, technical troubleshooting, and design discussions
Manage technical discussions with customers, gathering requirements, and presenting solution proposals
Prepare and deliver effort estimates, detailed proposals, feasibility analyses, and technical documentation
Track project timelines, identify/manage risks and dependencies, and ensure clear status reporting to all stakeholders
Facilitate effective communication and alignment between technical teams and senior management
Drive process automation, tooling improvements, and adoption of industry best practices
Maintain and grow technical expertise across cloud, data, and AI platforms

Proven customer-facing skills and experience leading technical discussions and presentations
Alternative pathways: Candidates with substantial hands-on technical experience and demonstrated project leadership may also qualify
Day-to-Day Activities
Oversee multiple concurrent technical projects, ensuring strong execution from inception through deployment
Engage in daily/weekly Agile ceremonies and project planning sessions
Review architectural designs, code, and solution documentation to ensure technical quality and compliance
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and leadership
Coordinate cross-team efforts, manage dependencies, and promote alignment on priorities
Participate in technical troubleshooting and solutions workshops as needed
Encourage process improvement, automation, and upskilling within the teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred)
Certifications in AWS/cloud technologies and/or Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
