The Analyst will execute job processing according to a complex business production schedule to support multiple operations teams and client deliverables. Validate television ad occurrence data and resolve issues.Job Responsibilities
- Execute job processing operations according to a complex business production schedule to support multiple operations teams and client deliverables
- Monitor and schedule jobs in Airflow workflow management platformManual processing and file handling on Windows server to ingest Excel files from multiple third party vendors
- Collaborate closely with Application Developers to resolve software application issues
- Assess business and client impact due to processing delays or schedule changes and communicate impact to operations teams, product leadership.
- Troubleshoot questions and issues from operations teams on application issues and data quality issues
- Analyze quality of television ad occurrence data and coordinate escalation and verification procedures to their resolution
- Maintain and manage daily processing logs and run procedure manuals
- Maintain an ongoing knowledge of all related operational processes and procedures residing in the Windows, Unix, AWS and Postgres environments.
Position Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have prior experience using PostgreSQL for troubleshooting
- Creative thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Able to function independently
- Able to work under pressure and within time critical deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with Windows, and Unix concepts
- Solid understanding of Excel
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use a phone or wear a headset
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard and mouse with high-speed internet access
- Work environment is indoors, remote or in a Nielsen office location
- Ability to work an assigned shift schedule which may include holidays and weekends, day, evening or night shifts to match USA time zones
