Position Summary


Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor system performance, servers, and applications to ensure uptime and reliability
  • Perform basic Linux system administration tasks (user management, file permissions, process monitoring)
  • Assist in troubleshooting system, network, and application issues
  • Support deployment and release activities for applications
  • Write simple scripts (Shell/Python) to automate routine operational tasks
  • Work with logs to identify issues and escalate when required
  • Maintain documentation of processes, incidents, and configurations
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams

Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems (commands, file systems, permissions)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS basics)
  • Familiarity with any programming in language
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and willingness to learn

Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)

Experience


  • 0 to 6 months (Internship experience in Linux/TechOps/Support is a plus)
