Job Description

Qualifications:

 1.⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

 2.⁠ ⁠Waldorf teacher training certification preferred.

 3.⁠ ⁠Experience working with young children in an educational setting.

 4.⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of child development and Waldorf education principles.

 5.⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 6.⁠ ⁠Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 7.⁠ ⁠Passion for holistic education and nurturing children's creativity and imagination.

Responsibilities:

 1.⁠ ⁠Implement Waldorf education principles and methodologies in teaching grade 1 and 2 students.

 2.⁠ ⁠Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that integrate arts, movement, and academics.

 3.⁠ ⁠Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that fosters holistic development.

 4.⁠ ⁠Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall well-being of students.

 5.⁠ ⁠Assess student progress through observation, informal assessments, and written evaluations.

 6.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Waldorf education principles across the curriculum.

 7.⁠ ⁠Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of Waldorf education.

 8.⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.

 9.⁠ ⁠Support the school's mission and values through active participation in school events and activities.

10.⁠ ⁠Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
