Job Summary



We are looking for a Workplace Associate to join our regional Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team to manage operations in Mumbai. In this role you’ll deliver exceptional workplace experiences and ensure smooth daily operations across Equinix offices. You will uphold CRE’s Four Keys- Safety, Courtesy, Efficiency, Community while supporting employees, visitors, and new hires, managing site logistics, and creating engaging on‑site events that build a vibrant workplace community.




Responsibilities



Operations & Customer Experience



  • Manage one or more sites to meet Operational Excellence standards



  • Oversee daily office operations, serve as the on‑site CRE representative, welcome and assist employees and guests; manage visitor access and badges



  • Support new hires with onboarding and introduce CRE services



  • Keep reception and common areas clean, organized, and visitor-ready



  • Build strong relationships, anticipate needs, and deliver personalized service




Events & Community



  • Plan and deliver workplace events that energize and connect employees



  • Promote events through Office Raven Calendar, posters, and Viva Engage



  • Create “surprise and delight” moments (festive treats, seasonal themes, activities)



  • Share event photos and support community engagement online




Safety & Courtesy



  • Maintain site safety and security; follow emergency procedures and escalation protocols



  • Respond promptly to tickets and customer inquiries with clear communication



  • Provide guidance on building policies, etiquette, and workplace navigation



  • Share site updates using approved CRE communication templates




Efficiency & Site Support



  • Manage mail, deliveries, Envoy check-ins, and office supplies when on-site alone



  • Raise or oversee Purchase Orders per CRE policy



  • Support office moves, openings, closures, and change projects



  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, landlords, and internal partners



  • Advocate for CRE services and ensure the business understands our value



  • Support site projects and programs




Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hospitality/customer experience



  • Minimum 5 years in workplace operations, hospitality, events, or similar fields



  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills



  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage projects effectively
