About the job Interface Engineer - Offshore Integration Interface Engineer – Offshore Integration (Third Party Contractor) Jakarta, Indonesia

Role Purpose:


Provide dedicated interface management and integration support across offshore development packages to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of project execution. The role is responsible for governing technical, schedule, operational, and execution interfaces across Drilling, SURF, FPSO, and associated offshore scopes through structured coordination, issue resolution, and interface assurance activities throughout the EPCIC lifecycle.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Manage and coordinate technical and execution interfaces across Drilling, SURF, FPSO, and associated offshore packages.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor interface registers, action trackers, and interface closure plans.
  • Ensure alignment of engineering deliverables and execution activities across package boundaries.
  • Facilitate interface meetings, technical workshops, and cross-functional coordination sessions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve interface risks, conflicts, and constraints affecting project delivery.
  • Support offshore installation planning, execution sequencing, and operational readiness activities.
  • Coordinate SIMOPS requirements and interface alignment during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and offshore handover readiness activities.
  • Monitor interface deliverables and escalate critical issues to Project Management where required.
  • Maintain auditable interface records and ensure timely closure within interface management systems (e.g., Coreworx).
  • Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, and HSSE standards.
    

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:


Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
(Mechanical, Petroleum, Marine, Offshore, Process, or other relevant disciplines).


Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in upstream oil & gas project execution.
Demonstrated experience supporting offshore EPCIC / EPCI projects involving Drilling, SURF, FPSO, subsea systems, offshore installation, commissioning, or startup activities.


1. Knowledge :


  • Strong understanding of offshore project execution and multi-package integration.
  • Good understanding of interface management methodology and governance processes.
  • Familiarity with offshore installation, SIMOPS, commissioning, and startup readiness.
  • Knowledge of interface management systems and project documentation processes.

2. Soft & Hard Skills :


  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management capability across multiple contractors and functions.
  • Effective technical communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project coordination tools.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive interface closure under project timelines.
