Below are the responsibilities and qualifications:
Responsibilities :
Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare payments to vendors Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing. Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve invoice and payment issues. Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger. Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide support for internal and external audits related to accounts payable processes. Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to accounts payable.
