SUMMARY
Provide aviation support services to the U.S. Department of State, DoS and Bureau of Diplomatic Security, DS under the oversight of the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation INLA in Iraq. The mission encompasses rotary and fixed wing aircraft operations in Western Asia and surrounding regions. Coordinate with US Embassy, USEMB, Department of State, DOS, Regional Security Officer, RSO, Department of Defense, DOD, and other members of Intelligence Community, IC in development of intelligence products and Force Protection, FP measures that support the protection of personnel and aviation operations. Reports to the Iraq Deputy Site Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Supervise all FP, Personnel Recovery, Physical and Operational Security, and Intelligence integration of Open-Source Intelligence, OSINT, and CLASSNET intelligence. Provide intelligence analysis for any assigned mission and USEMB diplomatic security activities. Monitor Intelligence Summary, INTSUM and Threat Summary, THREATSUM reports from the Threat Intelligence Fusion-Center, TFI-C and associated U.S. Intelligence Community, IC, and agencies. Present oral and or written analysis to aircrew, Senior Aviation Advisor, SAA, and Site program leadership, and as necessary enhance force protection, operational planning, and aviation risk management. Supervise the development and dissemination of an OSINT summary derived from the US Embassy RSOs daily Air Threat Brief, regional news networks, and social media posts. Advise, Assist, Teach and provide best FP and intelligence analysis practices for comprehensive FP measures for Department of State INLA SAA, RSO, and DOD PR. Conduct and supervise Department of State sanctioned weapons training and instruction as required IAW contractual and USEMB RSO policy. Advise, assist, and implement best practices for FP measures, Operational Security, OPSEC and Individual Protective Measures, IPM for AAR employees and subcontractors. Responsible for the daily activities of the FPI team in order to provide relevant and accurate FP and intelligence assessments and reporting. Maintain strong relationships with Department of State key stake holders, and Intelligence Community, IC as liaison to FPI matters. Perform temporary deployments to contingency locations as directed. - Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain a U.S SECRET clearance.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Required



Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. Graduate from military or civilian operations and intelligence school. Graduate of the US Army, CMF18, Navy SEAL, Air Force CCT and or equivalent US Military Tactical Operators Course. Completion of associated supported weapons school and the Diplomatic Security Basic Field Firearms Officer Course BFFOC before our incident to assignment. Twelve years of experience in leadership management of cross-functional skill sets and employee base. Ten years of experience in Physical Security, Industrial Security or Antiterrorism Force protection or equivalent combination of training and experience. Eight years of experience in security operations in the Middle East Central Asia theaters, or similar theaters of operations. Demonstrated experience in handling, training, and conducting range qualifications, IAW with RSO policies, for M-240, M-4 and Glock-19 weapons. High Threat Environment Drivers Course.

Preferred



Extensive military experience in security intelligence related matters conducting force protection and aviation security assessments. Interpersonal skills for maintaining mission interoperability with US State Department and Department of Defense DOD, Host Nation security and intelligence agencies.
