Job Summary:
Avertra seeks a seasoned Odoo Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team for an ambitious Odoo implementation project. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in configuring and optimizing the Odoo ERP system to align with our business processes, contributing to various modules, including CRM, Sales, Finance, HR, Project Management, and others.
Job Responsibilities:
Odoo Configuration and Customization:
Analyze existing business processes and recommend enhancements compatible with the Odoo system.
Facilitate the integration of business processes into the Odoo platform, ensuring seamless workflow transitions.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with the testing team to develop and execute test cases, focusing on configured functionalities.
Participate in UAT and regression testing, ensuring configured systems meet business needs.
User Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training materials for end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of the new system.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing any functional issues in the system.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into functional solutions within Odoo.
Act as a liaison between the technical team and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of system capabilities and limitations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and modifications.
Prepare reports on system performance, usage, and configuration changes.
RequirementsNeeded Competencies:
Strong understanding of business processes and ERP implementation lifecycle.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical business insights.
Ability to conduct detailed requirement analysis and convert them into effective functional solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support end-users.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.Experience:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Odoo ERP system, particularly in modules relevant to Avertra's operations.
Experience in developing user documentation and conducting system training sessions.
Finance and Accounting knowledge
Preferences:
Certification in Odoo or related ERP systems.
Familiarity with Python programming and database management.
Experience with business process re-engineering and change management.
