APPLY TO JOIN MASE AS INTEGRATED SERVICES LEAD
The Integrated Services Lead will lead MASE's Integrated Service Department covering power products, protection systems, and Medium and High Voltage (MV/HV) equipment associated with current and future power generation and non-power generation assets under MASE's care across the region.  As Integrated Services Lead your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Assume full ownership and responsibility of all aspects of the day-to-day operation of power products, protection systems, and Medium and High Voltage (MV/HV) equipment associated with current and future power generation and non-power generation assets under MASE's care.
  • Design and implement operating and maintenance plans for these components.
  • Manage, supervise, and lead plant operating and maintenance teams, service partners, and nominated subcontractors in tasks covering your designated scope.
  • Manage all aspects of technical interface with clients, stakeholders and all related parties covering your designated scope.
  • Support in the development, sales, and technical discussions of MASE's Integrated Services offering.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  1. Achieve, as minimum, the periodical goals and targets formalized for the Integrated Services Department.
  2. Perform preventative (routine and scheduled), corrective (emergency response and unscheduled), and predictive maintenance activities on power products, protection systems, and Medium and High Voltage (MV/HV) equipment and components across MASE's current and future asset under care portfolio.
  3. Create technical documentation, specifications, operating procedures and troubleshooting support for these systems and components within the project portfolio based on technical knowledge, prudent local and international standards, OEM recommendations, and interaction with local and international stakeholders.
  4. Develop and implement maintenance strategies for all transformers, interconnect points, substations, switchgears, protection relays and all associated MV and HV equipment.
  5. Propose, develop and implement improvement plans to address systemic problems and improve overall performance of the equipment (improvements and/or modifications).
  6. Continuously train, develop, grow and support the MASE O&M teams on all aspects and topics related to the components.
  7. Lead the technical process associated with procurement of parts, materials, and services and support for the resolution of technical issues of the components.
  8. Select, assist in the recruitment of, train, and manage plant operating and maintenance teams.
  9. Prepare, review and approve all relevant periodical and ad hoc technical and non-technical reports.
  10. Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and periodic status reports.
  11. Coordinate with other O&M teams to optimize resources and enhance O&M services across MASE's entire asset under management portfolio.
  12. Assist in the monitoring, data analysis, and fault detection tasks for the equipment and components.
  13. Develop and submit periodical and ad-hoc internal and external maintenance and technical analysis reports, including but not limited to preventative and corrective maintenance reports and logs, and defect and observation reports.
  14. Interface with Grid operators, OEMs, equipment manufacturers, grid operators, subcontractors, client representatives and compliance teams on operations and maintenance activities.
  15. Provide technical, strategic, and operational inputs to business development, commercial and company leadership teams to allow for the development, pricing, sales and marketing of MASE's Integrated Services vertical.

Candidates should have a thorough understanding of maintenance strategies, troubleshooting methodologies, and adherence to industry standards and OEM recommendations.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in managing, supervising, and leading teams is crucial. The ability to motivate, mentor, and develop plant operating and maintenance teams is essential for success in this role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams. The Integrated Services Lead must be capable of articulating technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze complex technical issues, propose solutions, and implement improvement plans is vital. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to addressing systemic problems and enhancing equipment performance.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management principles, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, is required. Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders to achieve project objectives is advantageous.
  • Team Building and Development: A track record of building cohesive teams, recruiting talent, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development is highly desirable. The Integrated Services Lead must prioritize team growth and support to ensure operational excellence.
  • Client Relationship Management: Experience in managing technical interfaces with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities is beneficial. The ability to understand client requirements, address concerns, and build lasting partnerships is crucial for delivering exceptional service.
  • Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Proficiency in preparing and managing operating budgets, as well as analyzing financial reports, is advantageous. The Integrated Services Lead should contribute to cost-effective decision-making and budget optimization.
  • Strategic Thinking: The capability to provide strategic insights and operational inputs to business development initiatives is valuable. Candidates should contribute to the development, pricing, and marketing strategies of MASE's Integrated Services vertical.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: The role may require flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and resolve challenges efficiently. Candidates should demonstrate resilience and a willingness to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in power generation, electrical maintenance, or related field.
  • Proven track record in leadership roles, preferably in the operation and maintenance of power generation assets.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for maintenance planning, documentation, and data analysis.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support project activities across the region.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
