The Role


The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing the hotel's training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and passion for training, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.


As a Learning & Development Manager, you will be reporting to the Director of Human Resources.


Key Responsibilities:


·Develop and implement training programs for all departments of the hotel.


·Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop customized training programs for their team members


·Conduct training sessions and workshops to build employees’ skills and knowledge required to perform their job duties effectively


·Plan, implement and monitor, company’s compliance training, general/core and Management Training.


·Certify and coach departmental trainers to maintain operational training quality and consistency.


·Continuously evaluate training programs to ensure they are effective and relevant, and make adjustments as necessary


·Develop training materials and resources, including manuals, guides, and videos


·Maintain accurate records of employee training and development, and use this information to identify areas for improvement


·Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations and organizations to stay up-to-date with trends in hospitality training


·   Plan and continuously maintain trainees and interns, to further support both the community initiative, hotel schools, and the hotel’s recruitment needs.



  • 2-3 years of experience in hospitality learning & development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of hotel operations.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
