Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Logistics & Export Coordinator to manage and support the export of wholesale container shipments to customers and business partners across the United States, Brazil, and other international markets. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating logistics, preparing export documentation, communicating with freight forwarders and customers, and ensuring shipments are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments from origin to final destination.
- Manage the movement of wholesale container shipments via ocean, air, and land transportation.
- Schedule shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, warehouses, and transportation providers.
- Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers and management.
- Resolve shipping delays, documentation issues, and transportation challenges proactively.
Export Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and review export documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Bills of Lading
- Certificates of Origin
- Export Declarations
- Shipping Instructions
- Customs and regulatory documentation
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and country-specific import/export requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and export transactions.
- Work closely with customs brokers and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
Customer & Vendor Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and delivery updates.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners across multiple countries and time zones.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers and international business partners.
- Coordinate shipment requirements and special requests with customers.
Operational Support
- Track shipping costs, freight charges, and logistics expenses.
- Assist with inventory planning and container loading schedules.
- Prepare logistics reports and shipment performance summaries.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience in international logistics, export operations, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and export documentation.
- Must be detailed oriented and motivated
- Knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
