- Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT infrastructure projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, developers, and vendors, to drive project execution and deliverables.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize your contractual expertise to negotiate and manage vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and statements of work (SOWs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT infrastructure, incorporating relevant advancements into project delivery strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience in contractual management, including negotiating vendor contracts, SLAs, and SOWs.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
