Job Purpose


Managing, coordinating, and reporting of daily operational performance levels to ensure operations targets are met. Adhere to all related policies and procedures are implemented per Aramex quality of service standards to ensure providing a satisfactory service to customers.


Key Responsibilities


  • Daily review of key performance reports including:
  • Ground operations service levels.
  • Warehouse teams’ performance.
  • Scanners utilization.
  • Last mile productivity / daily load report.
  • Branches daily performance.
  • Supporting all operations department in solving complex cases.
  • Cooperate with route couriers, zones controllers and operations management to understand challenges and root causes of problems.
  • Identify potential solutions and desired targets.
  • Communicate and provide leadership for work strategies that increase service levels, reduce operational costs and maximize employee satisfaction.
  • Implement training initiatives others to maximize use of scanners.
  • Ensure that route couriers promote the image and brand of the company through their appearance, behavior, and vehicle condition.
  • Assist with maximization of employee well-being and satisfaction by identifying sources of concern and helping to implement effective and efficient strategies to address these.
  • Ensure all high successful collections.
  • Ensure all emails during the day pertaining to the key clients are carried out example after hours deliveries, late same days, etc. (check outstanding inbound manifests)
  • Ensure the loading of the line haul is always supervised and couriers are not mishandling consignments.
  • Ensure correct parcels are being always handled based on the priority.
  • Ensure the late shift is operating at an acceptable level and accuracy maintained.
  • Ensure all scans are closed correctly.
  • Compile Route Optimization reports as well as SLA reports.
  • Monitoring of the collection and delivery performance, isolating of problem areas and solution implementation, to achieve of 100% on time collections and deliveries.
  • Ensuring that the disciplinary code and procedures of Aramex are consistently and fairly applied to all levels of staff in cases of misconduct. All policies and procedures must be made known to all operations staff.
  • Conducting weekly driver meetings and operations supervisor meetings, and forwarding minutes of the meetings to the operations manager by the day following the meeting, along with action taken from previous minutes
  • Further duties are to be changed and/or added at a later stage to suit the ever-changing operation.
