As a BSS Application System Analyst, experienced in Provisioning application, you will design, develop and configure required changes and workflows on provisioning platform, do the required testing, deployment, operations & support activities.
Job duties & Responsibilities:
§Review requirements and validate technical feasibility.
§Change request assessment, feasibility and implementation within time, cost, quality.
§Define the new network element in the provisioning flow or commands.
§Performing the business configuration in the adapter or in any provisioning interface to achieve the business requirements.
§Define/Update the provisioning flow & related notifications required for the business products as per the agreed SLA.
§Ensure that all submitted new provisioning workflows have undergo unit testing
§Testing of new patches / Software in test environment and share the reports with the customer.
§Perform the system health checks, application checks, products configuration checks on daily, weekly, monthly basis
§Perform bulk-provisioning actions as per the customer’s requirement.
§Provide RCA for raised incidents and support solution implementation for any failures.
§Perform the UAT as and when required along with the business teams.
§Perform the periodic diagnostic tests on the system in order to avoid any service disruption.
§Attend/respond/handle tasks assigned via prescribed channels within the response time and resolution quality agreed in the SLA.
§Resolving of the tickets related to the provisioning according to the agreed SLA.
§Maintain the provisioning network diagram and document with call flows.
§Maintain the provisioning system architecture & its workflows and ensure the detailed design of the solution is available for all projects.
§Ensure adequate documentation on all support activities are created and maintained
§Reporting for tasks & issues on time with suggested solutions.
§Providing reports on the provisioning statistics (e.g. total requests, Success, Failure etc.)
§Research development technologies & evaluate new trends to enhance quality & efficiency.
§Interface with customer & maintain good relationship & customer satisfaction
Job Requirements(Skills and licensing or Certification Required):
§Candidate should have experience with Nokia FLOW-ONE Provisioning System or other provisioning systems in any telecom operator.
§Must have hands on experience on designing, developing, configuring, and deploying provisioning workflows.
§Must have hands on experience on debugging provisioning & activation issues.
§Preferred to have experience on BSS applications like billing, charging, and mediation.
§Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures to identify and resolve issues related to provisioning & activation systems.
§Excellent trouble shooting skills to investigate performance issues & outages.
§Deep understanding of provisioning concepts in telecom operator network & its importance.
§Having experience in integrating the provisioning system with the HLR/VLR.
§Development experience using Java or C# or any OOP language.
§Good hands on experience in DBs and SQL development.
§Must have good shell scripting knowledge & UNIX fundamentals.
§Excellent communication and presentation skills.
