Job Brief:

The Diesel Generator Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generator sets and associated electrical systems.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generator sets Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, and control systems Conduct regular inspections and testing of generator sets to ensure optimal performance Install and commission new diesel generator sets Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of repairs Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in diesel generator technology Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

Your Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel generator maintenance and repair Strong knowledge of diesel engine operations and electrical systems Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting generator faults using specialized tools and equipment Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
