    Retail Training Manager

    Job Description

    Job Purpose
    To design, develop, implement and evaluate the Retail Training Strategy, in conjunction with the senior management team
    whilst maintaining a motivated and skilled workforce who are focused towards consistently delivering a superior customer

    Key Accountabilities
    # Consults with the business units to assess training needs, and develops a training strategy in accordance with the
    requirements of the senior management team;
    # Compiles the annual training plan and monthly training calendar which outlines and supports the training requirements for
    the forthcoming year. Provides training statistics report on a monthly basis;
    # Plans, develops and delivers appropriate training programs in accordance with the organizational and individual
    requirements, through a blended training delivery approach;
    # Monitors and assesses the developmental needs of self and others and maximizes improved skills base through coaching
    and mentoring initiatives;
    # Provides employees with the knowledge, understanding, practical skills and motivation to conduct work related tasks to the
    required standards;
    # Reviews and evaluates training delivery materials to ensure practical application and improvement in skill base and service
    # Delivers consistent best practice training solutions in a cost effective manner;
    # Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships at all times;
    # Plans, prioritizes, coordinates and achieves specific goals which are in accordance with corporate and divisional objectives;
    # Champions the management development activity derived from the talent mapping process;
    # Actively embeds the corporate mission, vision and values to maximize employee engagement.


    # Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in a Training & Development field, ideally within a Retail environment;
    # Must be an Arabic speaker;
    # Possesses the ability communicate effectively both verbally and in writing whilst adjusting style to the needs of the
    # Selects and utilizes suitable learning strategies which are tailored to the needs of the organization and/or individual;
    # Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative training solutions, conclusions or
    approach to problems;
    # Effectively manages the time of self and that of others.
