Role Summary:

We seek an experienced Salesforce Marketing and Education Cloud Developer with a proven track record in the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate is not just technically proficient but also displays a problem-solving mindset, offering creative solutions to complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement tailored solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Education Cloud, aligning with the university's evolving needs.
2. Engage constructively with cross-functional teams such as marketing, admissions, IT, and student services to establish optimized workflows and automations.
3. Continually stay abreast of the latest Salesforce trends and innovations, integrating them into our operations as appropriate.
4. Conduct training sessions to ensure internal stakeholders can adequately and successfully navigate and leverage our Salesforce tools.
5. Lead integration efforts between Salesforce systems and other in-house and third-party platforms.
6. Address system-related issues with agility and efficiency, always upholding data integrity and optimal system performance.
7. Regularly assess system performance, presenting insightful reports to the leadership team.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2. Salesforce Developer certification or a similar professional qualification.
3. 3-5 years of in-depth experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly in Marketing and Education Cloud.
4. Demonstrable creative problem-solving abilities.
5. Proficiency in Salesforce automation tools, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in working with universities or academic institutions.
2. Demonstrated success in managing complex projects to completion.
3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
