HR Manager, F&B – Beirut, Lebanon
Role Summary: The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions within the company’s F&B and Restaurant business. S/He will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company’s objectives while fostering a positive work environment for employees. This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a deep understanding of HR practices specific to the F&B and restaurant industry.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding processes.
• Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and retention strategies.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and make hiring decisions in collaboration with hiring managers.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including health and safety standards specific to the F&B and restaurant industry.
• Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and timekeeping records.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to HR in the F&B and restaurant industry.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the F&B and restaurant industry.
• In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
