Lighting Designer, Lighting Industry – Keserwan, Lebanon
Role Summary: The Lighting Designers plan and design lighting concepts, selections, and systems. S/He will work in collaboration with a variety of professionals, including interior designers, engineers, and architects to develop residential, commercial, or industrial spaces.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate and develop designs at all phases of the design process based on project criteria and client requirements.
• Create project presentations, drawings & animations depending on the project stage.
• Prepare mock ups and sketches needed to support the concept.
• Create the adequate lighting layouts which serve the space’s needs.
• Design lighting plans including selecting appropriate lighting instruments, computerized lighting control systems, and operators.
• Prepare the relevant Bill of Quantities.
• Handle the Product Selection from high-end lighting brands.
• Prepare Lighting calculations and Lighting reports.
• Handle the process from creation of the conceptual phase to the development phase on to site support etc.
• Meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of all work produced.
• Manage and review design development and construction documents and shop drawings for content, accuracy, and overall design integrity.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Lighting Design is a Must.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes:
• Innovative Creative Thinking.
• Strong Experience in: AutoCAD, Revit – BIM, Sketchup, Lumion,3D max, Vray – Corona, Dialux Evo, Adobe Photoshop, After effects.
• Strong Sketching and Design skills.
• Knowledgeable about various lighting tools.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills (Fluency in English is a must).
