Operation & Development Manager, Fuel Service Stations – Keserwan, Lebanon



Role Summary:
The Operation and Development Manager oversees both the day-to-day operations and long-term growth strategies of the gas stations in different regions in Lebanon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, driving revenue growth, and identifying opportunities for expansion and development. This role requires self-discipline, strong leadership, and business development skills.
Position Location: Keserwan, Lebanon
Business Industry: Gas Stations Business
Reporting to: General Manager
Managing: 4 Gas stations in Keserwan, Beirut, and Matn
Supervising: 10 supervisors + 20 gas station workers and staff

Main Duties and Responsibilities:



• Oversee all aspects of daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation of employees.
• Adapt internal regulations on staff as needed to optimize operations and address changing needs.
• Implement and enforce operational procedures, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
• Handle data reports and all daily reports sent by supervisors.
• Follow up with supervisors to ensure completion of tasks and address any issues or concerns.
• Conduct daily camera control of the workflow to monitor operations and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Perform onsite inspections periodically to assess facility conditions and adherence to standards.
• Problem-solve with clients and/or workers to address issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business development initiatives.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Responsible for attendance and payroll, including handling salaries for staff.
• Train and supervise workers to ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Responsible for recruitment, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.

Education and Experience:



• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management and business development, preferably in the gas station network or similar industries.

• Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated self-discipline and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities and implementing solutions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
