We’re looking for a ServiceNow Tech Lead/Architect under the supervision of the IT Service Manager and working in close collaboration with ServiceNow Product manager.
As a ServiceNow Tech Lead and Architect, you will act as a point of contact for all technical inquiries related to the platform.
We are looking for someone who - when needed - is ready to get their hands dirty and engage in the platform development/configuration process for advanced or complex features.
Your Role
Provide expert level support, technical mentoring, and guidance for ServiceNow development team; serve as a point of escalation for team members, help to remove obstacles and provide solutions when needed,
Engage in the platform development/configuration process for advanced or complex features.
Work with the ServiceNow Product team to define and enforce best practice and governance for the ServiceNow platform.
Oversee testing activities to ensure quality of the code and ensure development best practices are followed.
Conduct code review and support review sessions
Provide continuous feedback to enable team members’ growth.
Assess client's requirements, and product's specifications/features.
Effectively analyze and solve incidents and problems.
Assist in building and maintaining technical documentation.
Lead platform upgrades.
Collect technical requirements from stakeholders and make sure they are in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or computer science
3+ years of work experience as ITIL solution Admin and/or Developer
Experience in leading projects and teams through challenging and complex environments
Working experience with systems API Integrations with 3rd party tools using (REST, SOAP, email, etc.)
Working experience with ITSM and ITSM Pro tools or frameworks
Working experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular, bootstrap, JQuery, etc...)
Working experience with relational databases data modeling and SQL
Proficient in written and verbal communication in both French and English
Good to have Qualifications:
Working experience in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
Working experience with code reviews and pull requests.
Working experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, etc...
Technology and software usage experience that are considered as a plus:
NoSQL Database (e.g: MongoDB)
