We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Welding Engineer in Maldives. Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities using approved welding procedures.
  
• Execute TIG, MIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding operations.
  
• Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance.
  
• Follow workplace safety standards and welding regulations.
  
• Identify welding defects and implement corrective actions.
  
• Interpret welding specifications and work instructions.
  
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in working condition.
  
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure project completion.
  

Required Skills

1. TIG Welding – Ability to perform precision welding tasks.
   
2. MIG Welding – Experience in fabrication and production welding.
   
3. Stick Welding – Knowledge of field and structural welding.
   
4. Flux-Cored Welding – Ability to handle heavy-duty welding applications.
   
5. Welding Safety Standards – Understanding of quality and safety requirements.
   

Preferred Skills

• Welding inspection knowledge
  
• Blueprint/technical drawing reading
  
• Industrial fabrication experience
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should have practical experience in welding operations and be familiar with industry-standard welding processes. Experience in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding environments is preferred.

Education

• Minimum: Diploma / ITI in Welding or Mechanical field (Typical)
  
• Preferred: Welding Certifications
  
• Additional: Safety and Welding Quality Certifications
