Job Purpose
Responsible for the preparation of marketing plans for assigned portfolios. Drawing proposals for new launches, pricing and enhancing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead the strategic planning and execution of integrated multichannel campaigns for promoted Products portfolio in the loc.
- Liaise with cross-functional team to design the customer journey strategy that will be in line with the country need by leveraging the existing product playbook.
- Manage a portfolio of different products & therapy areas.
- Manage P&L of assigned products’ range/therapy areas.
- Monitor SKUs’ GP% & work with cross function colleagues to enhance it. (COGs adjustment, Repricing, size change, packaging material modifications,).
- Being early adaptor for any system changes. (Ariba, MAPs, ERP, etc.).
- 30% field activities including double visits, monitor strategy and activities implementation.
- Ensure the implementation of the plan, the use of promotional material and messages in the field by regular follow-up with the sales force.
- Accountable for performance targets: In-Market Sales for the assigned portfolio.
- Accountable for Sales Forecasting: SFA & SFB for the assigned portfolio.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and make appropriate recommendations to the Business Unit Head.
- Initiate and monitor Marketing Research per product, when necessary.
- Prepare regular standard and non-standard reports to the Business Unit Head e.g., highlight report, feedback reports, scientific office visit reports and field visits reports.
- Launch of new products and line extensions.
- Responsible for the pre & post launch activities:
- Lead cross function teams to secure any major product representation changes (Country specific pack, site change, etc.).
- Drive discussions & negotiations with multi-stakeholders (site, local logistics, supply, demand, etc.) to secure right allocations / supply to the local market.
- Analyze, prepare & present local market performance with above country teams periodically or when needed.
- Initiate & actively participate in initiatives and projects to keep the corporate competitive image.
- Ensure activities compliance through implementation of MM periodically.
