Job :

Within the ALTEN Service Center, the RAMS Engineer will work on railway projects to support the client in testability and failure analysis activities. They will contribute to improving system maintenance by analyzing failure modes and their impacts.



Main responsibilities



  • Create and maintain fault code databases.
  • Perform functional analysis of failure causes.
  • Identify and define equipment failure modes.
  • Classify equipment based on its criticality.
  • Identify the location of equipment affected by faults.
  • Perform analysis of failure effects on sub-systems and on the train.
  • Develop and update FMECA analyses.
  • Produce testability deliverables (Excel databases, analysis reports, tracking tables).
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with RAMS, maintenance teams, and the client's technical experts.

Required profile :
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, embedded systems, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Previous experience in RAMS, maintenance, or functional safety is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FMEA/FMECA methodologies, functional analysis, and reliability.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Rigor, autonomy, and teamwork spirit.
  • French: B2/C1
