Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior Program Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.


The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:


  • Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to robust New Product Introduction (NPI) and Work Package Transfer (WPT) plans across Hexcel EAP Core and Engineered Core facilities.
  • Identify, assess, and regularly track project risks and issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely mitigation actions.
  • Provide accurate and structured reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners on project progress, performance, and key milestones.
  • Monitor and enforce change control processes within NPI and WPT to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Lead tooling management activities within the facility from a Sales & Marketing (S&M) perspective.
  • Coordinate and lead customer visits related to NPI and WPT projects, ensuring alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive rate readiness activities to ensure operational preparedness for production ramp-up under NPI/WPT programs.
  • Support forecast and order book management, including tracking business cases and ensuring alignment with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to key Sales & Marketing business processes such as SIOP, STRAP, and Plan & Latest Estimate (LE) reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR), lead project meetings, define KPIs, and ensure delivery of NPI and WPT projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business targets

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field and +5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in an industrial or aerospace environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders, including customers or suppliers.
  • Solid technical understanding of manufacturing processes (considered a strong advantage).
  • Fluency in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment, demonstrating proactivity and self-motivation.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, combined with strong presentation skills and willingness to travel in an international context.
