Mission & Responsibility



Context of the Role


As a Test Lead, you will join AXA GBS MOROCCO within the Transformation and Technologies department, which adopts Agile methodologies. In the context of digital transformation, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our applications delivered to clients and employees. You will coordinate testing activities across your scope to achieve high-quality, compliant products aligned with specifications and user requirements. You will be the guardian of the testing strategy, defining and maintaining it within your perimeter.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy & Risk Management:


  • Identify project risks and oversee their mitigation.
  • Define testing priorities and scope based on project stakes.
  • Establish testing modalities, prerequisites, and entry/exit criteria for testing levels.
  • Coordinate test environments, platforms, and tools to ensure smooth testing operations.

Test Planning & Execution:


  • Organize and lead testing activities, including designing and executing tests.
  • Evaluate product quality and close testing phases, ensuring anomalies are addressed.
  • Specify testing conditions, procedures, and assess automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests in accordance with standards.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and identify deviations.
  • Document test reports, including test summaries, defect reports, and qualification reports.
  • Monitor and analyze testing KPIs and software quality metrics.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement:


  • Mentor and support Test Engineers in their daily activities and skill development.
  • Lead process improvements by facilitating a chapter within the Agile Tribe.
  • Contribute to the enrichment of testing repositories and best practices.

Must Have Skills & Certifications


  • Proven experience with Ray, Selenium, Web Services API testing
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Git, and SOAP UI
  • ISTQB certification is mandatory
  • Experience in testing enterprise applications, preferably within Agile environments
  • Ability to specify and execute both manual and automated tests

Nice to Have


  • Knowledge of TCO Mainframe testing

Candidate Profile


  • Education: Engineering degree, preferably in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience in testing within Agile environments; familiarity with testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Skills:
  • Rigorous and detail-oriented with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Knowledge of IT fundamentals, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Language: Fluent in English and French
