Your future role


Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in documentation management to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, detail-oriented, and innovative teammates.


You'll play a pivotal role in defining and implementing documentation management processes within project, program, and bid organizations, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project managers, core teams, and subsystem levels), manage documentation lifecycles, and ensure the timely delivery of required documents to customers.


You’ll specifically take care of building Documentation Management Plans (DMPs) in compliance with contractual requirements, as well as overseeing the deployment and use of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), but also support and challenge team members to foster a strong documentation culture.


We’ll look to you for:


  • Deploying and executing the documentation management process within your team.


  • Creating and updating Documentation Management Plans (DMPs) in line with customer requirements.


  • Defining and implementing documentation numbering systems and repositories.


  • Ensuring proper validation and timely delivery of contractual documentation and Managing external and internal documentation distribution requirements.


  • Setting up and deploying EDMS, training users, and managing access rights.


  • Participating in configuration and change reviews to integrate documentation activities.


  • Monitoring document milestones and providing reporting and analysis to stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in the field of technical documentation.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in documentation management.


  • Knowledge of EDMS tools (desirable).


  • Understanding of the railway domain or engineering environment (desirable).


  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Norwegian or German is a plus.


  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytical tools.


  • Experience in preparing dashboards and KPIs.


  • Strong understanding of project documentation standards.


  • Ability to contribute to or lead the implementation and operation of EDMS tools on projects.


  • Structured, process-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multi-site and international teams.


  • Familiarity with change and configuration management concepts.
