Open position:
1. Planning Engineer - Marine Division
 
Purpose of the Role - To prepare the Construction Programme and monitor the project's progress
Educational Qualification - Minimum Graduate (4 years) in Engineering
Age Group - 27 – 33 years
Experience in Years - Minimum 8-12 years in Construction Programming and Planning
Areas of Expertise - Marine and Civil Engineering
-Primavera and MS Project

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Marine works.
- Experience in Infrastructure projects.
- Well experienced in MSP and PS6.
- Has good knowledge of Marine and Civil Engineering works.
- Experience in various types and levels of schedule.

Other Skills

- Good Computer soft skills.
- Positive attitude
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Accountabilities

- Prepare Construction programme for Construction
- Understand the scope of work and prepare a programme for the Tender stage
- Monitor the schedule and update the progress on a daily basis
- Provide necessary advice for acceleration and resource deployment to meet the deadline
- Proactive management to avoid project time overrun
- Prepare the necessary schedule for supporting the EOT Claims
- Report and support to the Project team and HO team as required.

Proposed Salary / Package-The proposed package for this position shall be single status / family status in the range of OMR 650 to 850 per month (negotiable) depending on the experience in the field of Marine civil.

Terms:

1. Contract Period - 2 years (Renewable)

2. Working Days/ Hours Differ given the business demands, from Sunday through Thursday and weekly off on Friday and Saturday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

3. Food - Will be managed by candidates   

4. Accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, employment visa, joining and return ticket - Will be provided by Employer
