At Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa, we pride ourselves on providing our guests with the ultimate in-room dining experience. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an In-Room Dining Order Taker.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Answering in-room dining calls promptly and courteously, taking accurate food and beverage orders. Providing exceptional customer service while recommending menu items and suggesting pairings. Ensuring orders are processed accurately, entered into the system, and dispatched to the kitchen promptly. Coordinating with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of orders. Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with utmost professionalism and efficiency. Maintaining knowledge of menu items, promotions, and hotel services to provide accurate information to guests. Adhering to hotel and safety standards to uphold our reputation for excellence.
Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (hospitality experience preferred). Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to process information quickly and accurately. Strong problem-solving abilities and an eagerness to go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations. Proficient in using technology and basic computer skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
