▪ Minimum role requirements:
➢ Bachelor in relevant discipline
➢ 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management position
▪ Drive technology strategy to execution cycle to ensure the successful execution of all Technology Strategies
▪ Develop, manage and maintain Technology & Digital Strategies and roadmaps.
▪ Develop a technical Device Strategy to ensure compatibility with Omantel's network technologies, improve customer experience, streamline the evolution toward advance & efficient network technologies and reduce costs.
▪ Drive technology Innovation and R&D to solve Omantel operational issues, as well as identify and create
opportunities to commercialize these services and solutions.
▪ Ensure the empowerment and enablement of emerging generations within innovation and R&D cycles.
▪ Ensure Technology Strategy & Innovation has sufficient access to modern test facilities or labs that support our requirements for Trials/PoC's, use case development and testing.
▪ Establish a technology radar to identify opportunities for adoption and risks / opportunities for disruption.
▪ Maintain a vendor strategy to ensure vendor relationships deliver the intended value, with efficient processes.
▪ Collaborate with Business on emerging technical capabilities and support them to identify new products & use cases.
▪ Assist in the development and review of technology investment strategies.
▪ Conduct regular performance and development reviews with other functions across Omantel to manage their
experience across technologies, systems, applications, and technical solutions, and to identify pain points.
▪ Act as the Technology & Digital unit strategy/tactical plans/OKRs/Sprints.etc focal point on behalf of the unit heads; and participate in forums that align the entire strategy functions across the organization.
