AWS Cloud Engineer - 1605

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for Kubernetes, including networking, storage, and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with Kubernetes clusters and applications.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using CI/CD tools such as
Jenkins, AWS DevOPS, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell; leverage
tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Configure and optimize various AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others to ensure efficient
operation.
• Monitor cloud resources for performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the
Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for container security and network security within the EKS environment.
• Create and maintain documentation for Kubernetes infrastructure, including architecture diagrams,
configuration details, and procedures.
• Work closely with development, testing, and IT teams to ensure security practices align with company goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Solid knowledge of AWS.
• Proficiency in tools such as Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
