Job Description:

As a Data Scientist III, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging your expertise in Python, FastAPI, and a variety of cutting-edge technologies to drive the development and deployment of AI-driven products. With a focus on computer vision, LLMs (Large Language Models), and NLP (Natural Language Processing), you will architect and design innovative solutions, lead a team of talented individuals, and ensure the successful deployment of AI models. Your experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Google Vertex, Google Cloud Vision, OpenAI, GPT Models, RAG, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) in multiple languages, and your sound logic and debugging skills will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design and development of AI-driven products, leveraging your expertise in Python, FastAPI, and other relevant technologies.
   
2. Model Development: Develop and fine-tune AI models, focusing on computer vision, LLMs, and NLP, to solve complex business problems and enhance product functionality.
   
3. Deployment: Lead the deployment of AI models using Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Google Vertex, and other cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
   
4. OpenAI Integration: Utilize OpenAI's GPT Models and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques to enhance the capabilities of AI models and improve performance.
   
5. OCR Implementation: Implement OCR solutions in multiple languages, leveraging your expertise in OCR technologies and techniques.
   
6. Team Leadership: Lead a team of data scientists and engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
   
7. Logic and Debugging: Apply sound logic and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues, optimize algorithms, and improve overall system performance.
   
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define project goals, and deliver impactful solutions.
   

Qualifications:

1. Experience: 3-6 years of experience in data science or related roles, with a strong background in AI model development, deployment, and architecture design.
   
2. Technical Skills:

   • Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for software development.

     
     

   • Experience with computer vision, LLMs, and NLP techniques and frameworks.

     
     

   • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Google Vertex, and Google Cloud Vision for model deployment.

     
     

   • Familiarity with OpenAI's GPT Models and RAG techniques.

     
     

   • Experience with OCR implementation in multiple languages.

     
     

   • Strong logic and debugging skills to optimize algorithms and resolve issues.

     
     
3. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading a team of data scientists or engineers, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive collaboration.
   
4. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
5. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
