Deputy Manager QHSE - North

Overview:
We are seeking applications for the position of “Deputy Manager QHSE”. The incumbent will be responsible for improving warehousing OHS standards by the true implementation of OHS practices and also look after legislation requirements from government departments for required NOCs and documents for hazardous and non-hazardous commodities storage at DHL warehouses in Pakistan.

Role & Responsibilities:
•To ensure OHS standards are implemented on each site nationwide.
•Responsible for OHS and social audits from the customer end.
•To ensure all legislation requirements (documents) are available for hazardous and non-hazardous commodity storage at our warehouses.
•To liaise with government authorities like 1122 (emergency response) and fire departments to improve coordination in case of emergency they will provide support to DHL DGF Pakistan.
•To train staff for the in-house emergency response team, firefighters’ team, and other staff to maintain safe working standards.
•To lift warehouse safety standards and visibility through audits and also to ensure all safety equipment is available in the warehouse and working condition.
•To be responsible for implementing warehouse 8S standards.
Experience:
•At least 8 - 10 years of experience in the relevant domain of OHS.
Qualification:
•Master’s in science and environmental Engineering.
•Certification in NEBOSH/IYOSH
•Good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word)
•Communication skills both written and verbal
