Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and operating enterprise-scale on-premises infrastructure and deployment platforms. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD automation, Kubernetes platform operations, and a proprietary JUMP framework used for standardized application onboarding and release automation across environments.

The engineer will play a key role in building reusable infrastructure patterns, maintaining deployment consistency, improving platform reliability, and enabling fast and secure application delivery across multiple environments (dev, QA, UAT, staging, production).

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and manage infrastructure automation using Terraform in on-premises data center environments
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using version-controlled repositories and enforce idempotent provisioning practices
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and shell scripting
• Integrate JUMP framework-based workflows into CI/CD pipelines for standardized onboarding and deployment automation
• Standardize release processes across sandbox, development, QA, UAT, staging, and production environments
• Manage Kubernetes (on-prem) platforms, including cluster provisioning, namespace management, and workload deployment
• Support Docker image lifecycle, registry integration, and container deployment strategies
• Automate environment services such as DNS, certificates, access management, compute, storage, and networking configurations
• Support JUMP framework-driven onboarding and deployment standardization
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational guides in Confluence and Jira
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and project managers in Agile environments

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools)
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes cluster management and containerized workloads
• Experience with Docker and container registry workflows
• Good understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting (Bash)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, certificates, VLANs)
• Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, and version control practices
• Knowledge of release management and deployment strategies
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
