The Electrical & Planning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth Planning & Electrical maintenance of installations in operations in all sections of the plant.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Electrical Maintenance & Inspection – The incumbent will be responsible for inspecting the electrical installations as per the Electricity Rules of 1937 and taking the necessary measures to make them safe. Smooth liaison with the
  • Electrical Inspector and HESCO Electricity Department for assigned tasks. To supervise the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment at the plant as per the maintenance schedule. To arrange spares for electrical equipment at the plant.
  • To assure the implementation of IMS-related activities under the guidance of Deputy Manager E&I.
  • Reporting the daily plant shutdown and checking the logbook of the electrical section. Ensure the electrical troubleshooting of appliances in the shortest possible time.
  • Project Execution Activities – To purchase the tools and spare parts and to fix the store level for store items. Preparing estimates for new jobs. Preparing a maintenance schedule for electrical equipment. Execution of electrical-related planned MOCs to assess the quality of project jobs and prepare a punch list. Safe execution of the electrical part of the planed open permit capex.
  • Planning Activities – The incumbent will be responsible for safe planning of over all Engineering Department tasks to assure ,planning of all Planned, Predictive, condition-based maintenance schedules. He will be leading the planning/ managing through SAP all sections of the engineering department for aligning smooth maintenance jobs execution.
  • EHS Responsibilities--- He will be responsible for the execution and implementation of a safe system of work for all contract-related staff in the production section. He will be responsible for auditing all maintenance-related job execution in accordance with the defined safe system of work and industry standards.
  • Cost reduction Initiatives – Identify all cost reduction opportunities in the area of responsibility and electrical section to ensure efficient operation.
  • People development – To develop a work environment with electrical staff that encourages self-motivation and commitment to their jobs. Develop all working staff awareness related to best electrical practices.
  • Compliance of Company Policies – Will be responsible for the compliance of electrical-related legal requirements of the company.

Qualified candidates will have:


Mandatory requirements:


  • B.E Engineering in Electrical with 4 to 6 years of experience.
  • Good Hand on Experience of Electrical Inspection/maintenance of rotary and stator equipment, Grid, all level of voltages.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Motors, Starters, Transformers, HT Panel, LT Panel, Generator, High/ Low Voltage Switch Gear, Design of Electrical System, Electricity Rules & Regulations, IMS/ GMP requirements etc.
  • Knowledge of MS Office. With command in SAP
  • Use the SAP Maintenance Module to plan, schedule, create, and execute maintenance work orders for equipment to manage workflow to achieve site and standardized maintenance work processes as well as capital and improvement projects.
  • Collect, document, and review daily planned work against completed work to identify and quantify the variance between planned work and lost time.
  • English language Professional proficiency       
  • Urdu language is good in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Desirable requirements:


  • A preferred candidate would reside in the suburbs of Hyderabad or Kotri.
  • Hands-on experience in plant equipment operations.
  • Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
