The Engineer – Precast Execution is responsible for managing the safe, timely, and accurate installation of precast elements such as columns, beams, wall panels, staircases, and slabs at the project site. This role ensures that erection activities are carried out in compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards through effective planning, coordination, and supervision.
Plan and supervise the erection and installation of precast concrete elements at site, ensuring sequence, alignment, jointing, and tolerance requirements are met as per approved drawings and method statements. ? Coordinate with precast production, transport, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of precast elements to the site and manage storage or staging areas for smooth handling. ? Conduct pre-erection checks to ensure foundation or substructure readiness, presence of embedded plates or sleeves, and availability of erection equipment such as cranes, lifters, and rigging tools. ? Supervise the lifting, placing, and fixing of precast components such as columns, beams, walls, facades, staircases, and slabs, ensuring stability, safety, and correct alignment during and after erection. ? Ensure proper application of grout, sealants, and connection systems (e.g., bolting, welding, dowels) as per design details, and monitor curing processes for connection joints.
