General Summary:
- Job function: USB (USB2/3/4) Device Drivers Team and technology Leadership/Management for Linux/Windows/RTOS
- Skills/experience:
- 16+ years experience in Embedded systems, minimum 4 years’ experience in USB domain
- Strong technical leadership and People management experience
- Ability to lead and manage of 20+ USB engineers
- Strong C-Language skills
- High speed Peripheral technology (USB/PCIe) drivers software design & development
- Deep understanding and Experience in Linux/Windows/RTOS operating systems internals
- Device Drivers design and development for Linux/Windows operating systems for multiprocessor chipsets
- Experience in using debugging tools like Lauterbach/Trace32, USB/PCIe Protocol Analyzers (Lecroy)
- Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Responsibilities:
- USB technology and team leadership and management of 20+ engineers
- Technology leadership for complex issues debugging, new features design
- New Features/chipsets software requirements, scope of work, Hardware reviews, design and development for USB technology
- Design and development of USB software on Qualcomm multiprocessor mobile computing platforms for Linux/Windows operating systems
- Collaborate and work with Hardware teams for Hardware reviews and develop low-level device driver software (Peripheral/Host/class drivers) for USB2/USB3/USB4
- Lead USB Certification and Inter-operability support for Qualcomm chipsets
- Education requirements: Bachelor's (or) Master’s degree in ECE/EEE/CSE
